Halloween is definitely the strangest holiday. Going to a strangers house and asking for sweets? While dressed up as something scary? Well, I love it. You can just have fun, go crazy with makeup and answer the door to some adorable kids dressed up as pirates, zombies and fairies! It’s all a bit crazy and confusing, but I enjoy it. I like it to be honest. Yes, I may be fourteen-years-old, and yes, I am still out trick-or-treating.
I started my prep for Halloween on Monday (two days before), which was extremely late for me as I am usually prepping in August. However, I did do one thing I never do, which is getting a pumpkin early. I usually, get them the day before and carve them with very little time to spare. I will do quite similar designs every year with my favourite being a throwing up pumpkin. However, the pumpkin ‘sick’ will go furry and smell very bad and won’t last long. This year I carved my pumpkin like this:
My friends and I dressed as dolls in little spotty dresses and did some pretty cool makeup! I only got pics of mine though. Here it is:
We came home to a house that my mum had lovingly decorated for our mini party. It was so lovely to eat food and get ready to go out with these friends. We left to go out at around 7.30, we got a large number of sweets for 3 fourteen-year-olds dressed as dolls!
I even tried fake nails for the first time! I now love them. I’m sorry that the photos are bad. I am definitely doing Halloween next year, but bigger. But right now, I’m sat but the fire in my tracksuit and eating my Halloween sweets. Don’t judge me.
