Cosy Season – Looking After Yourself

Spooky Season is over now and I am so ready for Cosy Season. If you know me well enough, you’ll know that it is my FAVOURITE time of year.

There is absolutely no better feeling than being sat by a fire with a hot drink while WrappedinaBlanket. Nothing is quite like it. So peaceful, calming and a brilliant way to destress, relax, and reset for the busy lives we lead. So next time you feel down, tired or overworked, take a minute, it won’t take long.

Make a drink, take yourself to a warm cosy place, a couch, your bed, and just relax. Keep yourself warm, grab a book or a device you could watch YouTube on. Whatever it is, make sure it is something you want to do.

I always really enjoy taking myself to bed a little earlier than usual and making a drink and getting cosy etc. It always is nice and calming and means I always get a better night’s sleep for a better day tomorrow. Sometimes I like to do something like journalling, not thinking about the next day, but just feeling organised and prepared. Feeling cosy and safe.
